Founder, Novam

George Edos is the founder of Novam, where he builds privacy and AI software, including the tools behind Novam Legal's data-removal and takedown services. He writes these guides to help people find and remove their personal information online on their own, and to explain where a service can save time. He is not a lawyer, and nothing he writes is legal advice.

How these guides are written

  • Some guides are written by hand; newer ones are drafted with the help of AI writing tools. AI drafts must pass automated checks and a separate AI editorial review before they publish. Together these reject statistics and “studies show” claims, testimonials and client stories, references to any real person’s case, links to anything other than official sources (government sites, the platform’s own help pages, a data broker’s own opt-out page), and drafts that repeat an existing guide. Drafts that fail are not published.
  • The guides cover practical privacy tasks: opting out of people-search sites, removing personal information, and reporting content to platforms. Questions that turn on legal judgment, such as harassment, defamation or cease-and-desist letters, are not covered by these guides; those readers are pointed to the free case report and to a licensed attorney.
  • Novam Legal is not a law firm, and nothing here is legal advice. Where a guide mentions a Novam Legal service, it says what the service does and what it costs, without promising results.
