What is a DMCA takedown notice and when do I need one?
A DMCA takedown notice is a formal request under 17 U.S.C. §512 asking a host, registrar, or platform to remove content that infringes your copyright — for example, stolen photos, videos, or written work republished without permission. We draft a compliant notice with all required elements and send it to the right recipient on your behalf.
What happens if a site ignores my removal request?
We automatically send a second, firmer follow-up notice 48 hours after the first. If a site still doesn't respond, the request is escalated for manual handling — which can include filing a complaint with the FTC or your state Attorney General, or further platform escalation, and you'll see the status update in your dashboard.
Do you sell or share my personal information?
