No. Your PDF is opened and edited on your own device, and editing, filling, signing and marking up do not upload it. If you choose to use a Pro AI feature, the text it needs is sent to our AI service for that request.
Yes. Click the text you want to change and type. You can adjust the font, size, bold, italic, underline, color, alignment, spacing and indent, and paragraphs re-wrap as you type. Results depend on how the PDF was made: a scanned page is a picture, so there you would cover the old text and type new text over it.
You can edit scanned pages by covering the old text with whiteout and adding a text box, and you can add, move and resize images. A scan is a picture of text, so it cannot be edited like the text in a regular PDF.
Whiteout covers content with a shape. Redaction is for removing sensitive content. With Pro's true redaction, the covered text is removed from the file rather than just hidden underneath a box. Always check the saved file before you share it.
Drawing or uploading a signature image lets you sign documents that accept a signature on a PDF, but whether a particular document is valid depends on the document and the law. Novam Legal does not give legal advice, so ask an attorney if it matters.
